IMHO, this may be the best team that Fran has put together, at least on paper. If Watanabe is the pre-season favorite for MVP, then Decker (already a 2 X selection) should be right behind her. Campbell is the logical choice for POY but don’t be surprised if Sorem is not right there behind her. Sorem is certainly the favorite for ROY but Lehigh has several career .500 hitters in this rookie class. Lattanzio was 1st team PL in her freshman year and 2nd team last year. She may get a more prominent role this year, perhaps at 1B.
This should be an exciting season.
