Doc and staff have done a remarkable job transforming a group of very talented players into a team. And I include the bench. Notice that Doc credits the players’ character as the prime ingredient in the transformation. Perhaps so but the coaches recruited them. Regardless of how Wednesday turns out, Doc and staff have built a team that will only get better. I look at TJ. I used to cringe when he came in expecting a hesitating PG a day late and a dollar short throughout his court time. Now we see a quick confident player with crisp passes who also drives and can shoot. O does not miss a beat.
