Good points. Agree on changing speeds. Point is its better to be slowing off a 68 mph fastball than a 62 mph one. Learning to accurately throw off speed and junk not easy. Pitching coach here is quite effective.
I note S and C programs are tailored by sport and position. Softball SS has a much different program than an OG :-).
