Coach Paterno once said, “You’re never as good as you look when you win, or as bad as you look when you lose”. I am not willing to judge this team after two weeks.
Going forward, we level the playing field greatly, so now we can make judgments. Every game a toss up, except for Fordham.
Every year, there are games you have no chance to win (JMU) and games that you have to win (Georgetown, CCS). In between, are the games that can go either way, the ones decided by 6-10 points. Coaches who find a way to win those games have winning records and keep their jobs.
