Very tough matchup, imo. I’d want to put somebody in Hass’ hip pocket, full-time. Maybe even box-and-one if we have to go zone; make somebody else beat us. Hass is listed at 6’5″ and is long; he’ll shoot right over a smaller guard. Of everyone I’ve seen in the PL so far this year, I think Hass is playing the best ball. He was fantastic in the game I saw at NC St. I’d envision putting AP on him, or JRG when AP sits. Can’t afford to think about putting JC on him; boards will be critical, I think. Bucky has 7 guys on the roster at 6’7″ and up, 4 of whom play significant minutes; I think the other 3 have battled injuries.
Foulland isn’t potent on the offensive end yet, but he’s a major concern on D. Given our issues with blocked shots, he could wreak havoc tonight. I suspect we’ll have to shoot and make 3s to stay in this one.
