    It is what it is I suppose. Leaving school just seems very strange to me though. It was a summary offense. Two, I believe, are 2nd semester seniors. The season starts on Saturday so they won’t hook up with a team this year any more. Alas!! We move on.

    Just heard that the fellow involved in this scuffle admitted to the police that he started the fight. Not a free pass but certainly good news.

    Since this occurred before the season started, perhaps leaving school for the semester will allow them to come back next year and not burn a year of eligibility. OTOH, Caccesse said the suspensions were indefinite until the investigation and U’s judicial process ran its course.

    The two seem to dovetail IMO. Academic investigations take time. They would have lost most of the season. The offenses are minor,not even comparable to football incident. Thinking its a redshirt.

    Corbett is making a difference too…just scored his second goal. Eaton and Tedesco are both showing on the stat sheet but with no stats. Don’t know if that means they are both back in school or they they just haven’t adjusted the roster.

    BTW, the women won their first game of the season yesterday 7-2 over UC-Cal-Davis. The temps must have been a shock to the visitors.
