This is beyond belief to have professional coaches unable to prepare their team, to adjust to the opponent’s game, to use each and every kid’s strength to your advantage and to motivate them. It’s called incompetence. We have been out-coached every single game of the season. Why do you recruit kids and you don’t know what to do with them? When you play that bad and are on a such a losing streak, give everybody a chance to show that they can help. Try something else.
HC had a 22 to 6 advantage in the paint in the first half and your two centers are rotting on the bench despite one of them being the best rebounder on a limited time vs the top team in the league last game. You also have another kid being on fire shooting wise and she’s not even starting. Quote after the game: “as a coaching staff we feel that she’s better providing us with a spark, a boost from the bench”. Yes, when you’re down a bunch already…. Tired of hearing the same interview after each game, blaming our youth and praising the other team. What about a self-evaluation of your inability to use the talent you have and your unwillingness to help them mesh well with one another? You lost badly to a 2-13 team who kept you at 47 points !!! Not even worth commenting on the game itself.January 14, 2017 at 8:19 pm #30375In the past I would have saud we lost to the worst team in PL. Cant now because we are the worst team in PL. An absolute mess.
January 14, 2017 at 8:44 pm #30376Lafayette is still competing with us for the title…
It will be settled in one week. Worst 2016-2017 PL Team.January 14, 2017 at 9:28 pm #30379What happened to Eripret. I noticed that she didn’t play after starting the last game.
January 14, 2017 at 9:38 pm #30380Who knows? Especially when GG was awful today.. 3 free throws is close to 30 minutes…
January 14, 2017 at 11:05 pm #30382If they don’t beat Lafayette next weekend, is there a win on the remaining schedule? This is starting to look like the WBB version of the Hinkie-led 76ers
January 14, 2017 at 11:14 pm #30384Dont think so. Team cannot play D.
HH an excellent PG. Q shoots a lot but not very well this year. Front court completely lost. GG played hard but rarely saw the ball.
These girls look completely lost on the court. I can find no rhyme or reason for substitutions.
This team needs a complete reset.. We are not seeing a team on the court just a various assortment of players.January 14, 2017 at 11:33 pm #30385Freshmen: 91 minutes out of 200 (basically half of the team)
13pts, 10 turnovers and 11 rebounds combined
You are not going anywhere with that.
Time to change the process….. They need an inside game to go with their perimeter shooting frenzy.
And poor BM humiliated with a few seconds after weeks on the bench.January 14, 2017 at 11:44 pm #30386A total reset. The frosh are burnt right now. Sue IMO put too much on them too quickly. By the same token she took her upper class players and tossed them under the bus.
Now she has an assortment of players but no team.
Admittedly faced a tough position going into season with 7 new players. Hindsight it was not handled well. Loss of KM certainly hurt but that came after the dissolution of the team.January 14, 2017 at 11:52 pm #30387You are so right and ST is lucky to have what seems to be a no drama group.
