    Great game. It was well played from both ends. Good pitching, solid hitting, some great plays in the field and execution of the bunt. Neither team could get that clutch hit until the 6th.
    I was amazed that Bucknell did not walk Decker. 1st base was open.
    Yozzo appeared to still be wearing a cast. Her role will be limited to pinch running IMHO.

    BU hangs on to win 3-2. I’m wondering if Army gambled and lost by pitching their 3rd best pitcher (ERA) in the first game anticipating a game with Lehigh next. Just a thought.

    Think so. Why risk their best vs #+P in PL. They have Bucknell.. Will Bison throw Fazio again or go with their #2? Gotta give Army the edge. Guess Army looking for their #1 bs us.

    It looks like tomorrow’s game has been moved up to 9:00 AM. Even that may not avoid the rain that will coming all day. Depending on how they reschedule, teams may need to go 2 deep into their rotation.
    As for Fazio, there is a significant drop from her to the next bet and with an almost inevitable rain delay, I think Army will see her. If I’m not mistaken, didn’t Fazio pitch every game last in in the playoffs?

    Rain expected here by about noon. We get your whether about 1’2 hrs later. Gonna be close. Assume we’ll see Russell tomorrow.

    BU 6-2. They are in Championship game.Hope their opponent is us.
    Absolutely dominated by Russell. Our pitching was not there today. If we do get to Final guess we will see her again.

    Army holds on 3-2. Army Lehigh in about 10 mins CC on the mound.
