Not sure how anyone can criticize the play calling. We essentially moved the ball at will. Obviously, the turnovers and the horrendous defense were the difference in the game. Not sure how Coen can allow the defense to be as consistently terrible as it has been, year after year, without making the changes necessary to improve things on that side of the ball. Supposedly, we are using a different scheme this year. I don’t notice any real difference in the scheme or the results. We had no sacks and put no pressure on the Princeton quarterback. Every time our opponent runs a sweep it goes for big yardage. We consistently miss tackles turning short gains into long gains.
