Subpar recruiting on D for at least two or three years. Too small on the line and at LB and not talented enough or athletic enough in the backfield. Hence all the missed tackles There are a few good guys but depth is lacking. I think we have really struggled to get D lineman in the new scholarship era.
Maybe the new class will change things.
