A tough loss where made more mistakes than ‘gate. Not kicking the FG when the game was tied at 4th and 4 still has my head spinning. The dropped punt led directly to a go ahead TD, when we could well have taken the lead. Not running at all in the last series is troubling, and the lack of ‘attacking’ Melville is bothersome. With a running QB like him, I believe in penetrating to disrupt his options. He was way too comfortable and a strong runner. Arm-tackling was not bringing him down. Major soul searching needs to be done about the Defense for next season.
